ENDLESS Legend 2 is Amplitude Studios' 4X sequel on Saiadha, an ocean world that keeps rewriting its own coast. Hooded Horse published version 1.0 on 17 September 2026 for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series after Steam Early Access opened on 22 September 2025. You lead one of eight playable sides — six majors plus two free Rogue splits — through monsoons, receding seas, and tactical battles you can either auto-resolve or place by hand. This wiki is the map-room version of that loop: jump to a faction, read the season strip, then follow cities, combat, Dust, and the 59 Steam achievements.
What 1.0 actually shipped
The Steam product is app 3407390, listed as ENDLESS Legend™ 2, with a Windows-only store flag even though consoles launched the same day through PlayStation and Xbox storefronts. Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store carry the PC build as well. US list price sat at $49.99 with a launch discount to $24.99. A Steam demo still exists as app 3596660, originally sold as a window into Early Access; the 1.0 news posts treat that demo as closed even though the store listing remains.
Interface support covers sixteen languages with English full audio. Steam's supported_languages list does not include Thai, Vietnamese, or Indonesian, so those store blurbs stay on the English lockup. Official CJK titles sit beside that lockup: 无尽帝国 2, 無盡帝國 2, エンドレス・レジェンド 2, and 엔들리스 레전드 2. Arnaud Roy composed the soundtrack; Amplitude sold a vinyl alongside the 1.0 drop.
Multiplayer is real: Steam lists Multi-player and Online PvP, and PlayStation lists up to eight online players with PS Plus. The 59 Steam achievements include a multiplayer unlock, so the campaign is not the only track. Launch-celebration pets — Samar, Tlola, Chimera, Guk the Defector, Madame B, and Hardy — were promised at 1.0 and then moved to a later grant on Amplitude's release-information blog.
Eight playable sides, not a generic Civ clone
The six majors are Aspects, Kin of Sheredyn, Last Lords, Necrophage, Tahuks, and Sandshapers. 1.0 also ships two free Rogue Factions: Order of Zelevas, a Kin split still loyal to Emperor Zelevas, and Severed Claws, a Necrophage hive cut off from the Matriarch. Steam and Amplitude both stress that faction choice changes economy, diplomacy, and battle doctrine, not just a color swap on the same tech tree.
Kin of Sheredyn turtle behind fortification gauges and orbital Wrath of the Skies. Aspects spread coral and pacify villages instead of stacking casus belli. Last Lords skip Food and spend Dust to grow. Necrophage convert victories into more bodies. Tahuks feed the Sacred Oculum with science. Sandshapers, added as the sixth major at 1.0, turn claimed land to Sand and spend Wishes. If none of those fit, the custom faction creator lets you mix affinities, traits, units, and populations — the Steam about-the-game copy is explicit that you can leave the named roster behind.
Minor villages sit on the same map. Bribe, parley, or raze them, then assimilate a perk. 1.0 adds the community-designed Mangrove of Harmony on top of the older census. Those villages are not a ninth major; they are the assimilation layer that Aspects in particular want to keep alive. The factions board and minor factions list keep those two jobs separate so you are not hunting a village perk inside a playable-side table.
How to read this atlas
Start with the four faction jumps above if you already know you want coral, walls, Dust, or a swarm. Otherwise open the comparison board, pin up to three sides, and filter Diplomats, Defenders, Economic, or Warmongers. The Tidefall primer is the other first-hour job: Clear Skies is the default hex-map weather, Monsoon is the rain season, and Tidefall drops the ocean without deleting the cities you already built. Plan landbridges before the water moves, not after an army walks a new isthmus into your capital.
Cities begin as a single camp. Influence founds more. Districts specialize Food, Industry, Dust, science, walls, or military, and 1.0 retuned several adjacency buildings so level-2 effects matter more than city-wide scaling. Combat is either auto-resolve or a tactical map where Kin shields, coral, drowning, and adjacency all show up in the achievement list. Dust, Influence, luxuries, strategic stockpiles, and Necrophage Corpses are the spendable yields; Last Lords live on Dust, Tahuks burn science, Necrophage burn corpses.
Use the beginner's guide for the first campaign briefing, platforms for PC versus PS5 versus Xbox and the leftover demo, and achievements when you want the 59 unlock names rather than a systems lecture. Official screenshots and the Endless Universe launch trailer stay on this home page so the rest of the wiki can keep each image on the route that actually needs it.
